Boutique Barocca is an 18th century palace in the historic centre of a city rich in history and traditions, Modica, a symbol of elegance, of the Baroque, a UNESCO heritage and home of chocolate. The doors of an ancient 18th century palace, with a terrace overlooking the old town, a wine cellar to enjoy a glass of local wine, and a kitchen located in a cave, carved into the rock. Each bedroom and the main living area are fully air-conditioned, ensuring comfort year-round.

To ensure a smooth arrival, we offer a complimentary group transfer at Catania Airport, coordinated to align with both national and international flights. Our team will be there to welcome you at 17:00 on your arrival day, allowing for easy connections for guests traveling from abroad. Many of our US clients choose to fly through Rome, though as of 2025, direct flights from the US to Catania Airport are also available.

 

Drop-Off Information
At the end of your stay, a group transfer will return you to Catania Airport, with a drop-off scheduled for 11:00 on your departure day. For the best experience, we recommend booking flights that depart no earlier than 13:00. From beginning to end, we’ve arranged your transfers to provide a seamless and relaxing journey.

 DAY 02, MONDAY 

First cooking class, then Ortigia Island.

Rise and shine, culinary adventurers! After a refreshing breakfast, prepare to unleash your inner chef as we dive into our first exhilarating cooking class with our talented chef. Indulge in the fruits of your labor as we gather to enjoy a mouthwatering lunch together. In the afternoon, set off on our thrilling day trip to the coastal gem of Siracusa, where the ancient streets of Ortigia Island beckon. Lose yourself in the mesmerizing beauty of its historic architecture before treating your taste buds to a feast at a local trattoria, immersing yourself fully in the flavors of Sicily.

 DAY 03, TUESDAY 

Second cooking class, then Noto.

Good morning, epicurean explorers! Fuel up with a hearty breakfast before delving into our second captivating cooking class with our esteemed chef. After savoring your culinary creations for lunch, get ready for another exciting adventure as we journey to the majestic city of Noto, the crown jewel of Sicilian Baroque architecture. Explore its enchanting streets, marvel at the grandeur of the Cathedral, and soak in the splendor of Palazzo Castelluccio. Cap off the day with a sweet indulgence at a local gelateria before returning to the venue for a divine dinner experience.

 DAY 04, WEDNESDAY 

Marzamemi, Wine Tasting Tour, then third cooking class.

Prepare for a day of sensory delight! After breakfast, embark on a journey to the quaint fishing village of Marzamemi, where old-world charm meets coastal beauty. Immerse yourself in the art of Sicilian winemaking with a tantalizing wine tour at a prestigious local vineyard, followed by a light lunch overlooking the picturesque vineyards. Return to the venue for our third thrilling cooking class with the chef, culminating in a dinner that promises to tantalize your taste buds and leave you craving more.

 DAY 05, THURSDAY 

Fourth cooking class, Modica, Chocolate Tour, Sightseeing tour.

Good morning, chocolate aficionados! Start your day with a delectable breakfast before diving into our fourth immersive cooking class, where you'll unlock the secrets of Sicilian cuisine. After lunch, embark on a decadent chocolate tour in Modica, where you'll learn the ancient art of chocolate-making and indulge in a 400-year tradition. Hop aboard a charming sightseeing train to marvel at the city's stunning baroque architecture before indulging in a flavorful dinner at a local trattoria.

 DAY 06, FRIDAY 

Ragusa Cheese farm tour, Carob farm tour, Watermill tour.

After breakfast, head to a picturesque farm in Ragusa for a cheese tour, where you’ll see traditional cheese-making in action. Savor a rustic lunch of freshly made ricotta and local specialties before heading to a nearby carob farmhouse for an intriguing visit. Next, explore the ancient wonders of Cava D'Ispica, a historic archaeological site rich in mystery. Fifth cooking class, free afternoon, farewell dinner.
